Strapless kitesurfing: The week before surgery

A short strapless video from last summer theweek before my ACL surgery.

 

Found some old footage from the summer and thought I'd put together a little vid, some nice duck gybes, a small ariel re-entry and some board reversals are highlight. As usual in Kent waves were small..............

 

 

NORTH REBEL 14M 2007 KITESURF KITE K/ONLY

This kite is a brilliant low wind kite / heavier rider. The rebel is an ultra friendly, easy kite to fly with massive depower and easy relaunch. The kite is kite only and is best flown on the North 5th element bar and lines. The kite has been well used but is still in good condition, it has 2 large repairs and a variety of small repairs but all have been professionally done. The kite itself is ready to fly.

Other repairs include finding of pinprick repairs and patching and the replacement of valves.

This setup is complete and ready to fly. The Yarga is a hybrid / SLE that can be flown on either 4 line or 5 line mode (it comes setup as 4 line). The Yarga has a huge range, easy relaunch and is well built. The kite is in very good condition it has one medium repair on the leading edge (see photo) and a small one nearby. It also has a few small professional repairs in the canopy (all are professionally done!!). The Yarga is a versatile kite whether for a beginner or someone more advanced. The kite comes with Eclipse 45cm 4 line bar and lines. This is in excellent condition has quick release, big depower range and several safety systems.

The kite comes with bag but there is no leash or pump.

Taken over 4 sessions with gopro 5mb, waves were not spectactular and weather was typically british from winter suit to shorty in one week but still good fun...........

This kite is in very good condition, it has no punctures etc. It has had 2 professional repairs in the leading edge but there aren't any in the canopy. The bar and lines are also in very good condition and complete with bar bag. I no longer have the orignal bag but I have a large drawstring bag included that I have been using.

The Torch is an excellent kite with an impressive wind range and is really well built. The low end is impressive and is a great kite for waves, freestyle etc

The kite is in excellent condition it has a couple of small repairs and some replacement stitching on the leading edge. The SBOW has a huge wind range as well as easy relaunch and massive depower, it is an ideal kite for the winter or someone starting out. The bar and lines are in good condition, the lines have been replaced and checked, the safety system is a centre line re-ride but there is no leash. There is no bag with this kite.
